Sonoma Valley Vineyard

I think it's B.R. Cohn but I was so busy trying to take a picture out of the moving car that I forgot to take note. It was an absolutely perfect morning as I said to a man walking with his two kids in the Sonoma Valley Park where we took Spike this morning. He responded by saying, 'Yes it is and good job getting out'. I know he was just being friendly but it make me feel like a cross between a child and an ancient old lady.

After our walk we went to the Red barn which has fresh produce, handmade soap and  jam and a wonderful selection of dried beans. But their main claim to fame is the beautiful wreaths made from fresh and dried flowers, berries and bay and eucalyptus leaves. They are only open on Saturdays and we rarely go there, but it has become something of a tradition to go and get a wreath.

I spent the afternoon adding a few extras to the wreath and trying to figure out how to hang it from the mirror opposite our front door. I once had a hook that went over the top of the mirror, but it seems to have suffered the fate of useful items that somehow fall victim to uncontrolled oganizing. I found some removable hooks designed to go on glass in a drawer but they must be past their shelf date because they wouldn't stick to anything. I have done something makeshift and must now go and see if it works. I was supposed to wait an hour before hanging anything on it and it has now been considerably longer than that as I got sidetracked into editing my photos which takes forever....

It is now getting dark and spike and John are now suspiciously quiet. I suspect they are both asleep somewhere....
