Flaming Vermin

I went out to finish a wee box and when I went to put on my helmet I saw the damage done to the padding on the headband (in the extras). Some damned vermin has been in and chewed it.
There is no sign of anything else so the wee bugger obviously has expensive tastes.

The latest tops have been oiled and they seem to work quite nicely. The different designs can be seen better in this shot. 

The smoke detectors arrived this morning - despite SWMBO getting a tracking notice saying they were being delivered to an address in one of the other courtyards.

All day there have been warnings that we are all going die in the storm that is forecast but all day it has been rather nice - there was even some colour in the sky in the late afternoon - which rather rapidly turned into lots of colour and nicely textured clouds (there are more pictures)  although it didn't last long as the dark clouds rolled in.

If the storm hasn't killed me or destroyed the house I will be back tomorrow.
