Thieves

Apart from yet more paperwork and a pile of laundry, a quiet day with several highlights: The cats let me sleep for over eight hours, a friend came to visit for coffee, and we saw the sun for a few hours in the afternoon. 

This morning, I watched a jay steal from the fatball that’s really meant for smaller birds (see extra). I wanted to use the picture for my main blip, but another thief was even cuter. 

I took my long neglected crocheting project out of the basket and had barely started to work on it, when Rani stole one of the  skeins and didn’t want to give it back. 
She would be welcome to play with it, but both sisters love to eat the loose ends of yarn, and that can end badly. 

After modeling for my blip. Rani finally agreed to swap the skein for a toy mouse.
