Fairy lights.

Not electric lights, but water drops on the window shining in the sunlight.
The window cleaner came today as I was having breakfast, and looking up I saw this beautiful sight. I wasn’t sure how the camera would capture it, but was delighted with the result.
Might tag it for Tiny Tuesday.

So another beautiful cold sunny day.
Had a walk down to the village for another sympathy card.
We had some more sad news last night. The sister of one of our oldest friends died yesterday. She had recently been diagnosed with cancer. Only picked up as she went for an X-Ray after falling down stairs.
She missed a mammogram two years ago.
So please if anyone is asked to have one, DON’T PUT IT OFF.

This afternoon we have been preparing for the plumber coming tomorrow to start on fitting a new bathroom.
Not an easy task in our little cottage, especially as the stairs go up from the lounge. Which is why we have put it off for so long.
However I’m sure all the upheaval will be worth it in the long run.
Just fingers crossed they don’t hit any snags!
