Village pond.
After a dry frosty start to the day, the sun came out and by 10am the frost had all melted.
So after doing the washing we went for our lockdown walk across the moor to the pond.
We met a neighbour out walking his dog and chatted for a while. Mainly about football! Surprise, surprise!
Everyone else we met greeting us with a friendly “ Hello “ and a smile, and where necessary standing aside to keep the right distance. Makes for a very pleasant walk.
A new shop opened in the village today.
Called Bri and Bordeaux. A cheese shop which also sells wine.
Well as you can guess I had to pay a visit.
He had sold out of the Bri I wanted, and didn’t have any Southern Rhone wine, but I did buy a South African Pinotage from an area we visited when there on holiday.
I wish them well. When they bought the property last October they certainly had no idea what lay ahead.
Waiting to see which level we will be in when the present lockdown finishes. I think it may be tier 3.
