Dripping..

with pollen.  The last of  the Rhododendrons have nearly finished flowering. This lovely white one belongs to our neighbour and most of the flowers are very high.  I was fascinated to see the pollen hanging like this. They reminded me of stalactites but what a mess on the older flowers after the bees had visited - extra. The 2nd extra is the last of our Rhodos, supposedly green but more a creamy yellow when it opens, fading to  the cream with the pale yellow centre.
