St Giles Cathedral

Snapped as we headed back to the train this evening after a busy wee day with a lot of walking...

We left Stirling on the 11h00 train after walking to the station from home.

We were heading to the Anti Bedroom Tax March in Edinburgh...so we had that walk to complete too, St.Andrews Square to the Parliament...not the best of routes in my opinion for grabbing folks attention but obviously the one agreed by the march organisers. Glad to have Mr R and the Barmy Army's company on this one. This bedroom tax has really got me angry and wanted to take part in the march.

After the speeches we walked up to the National Museum of Scotland and had a wee wander round there.

Then it was back to the train station and a walk back home. I clocked up over 22000 steps on my pedometer...that included a 5km run I did with the Weim before we headed off.

The Barmy Army walked all of that too...excluding the run. The wee fella was an absolute star!

Once home it was a take-out dinner and an early night in an attempt to compensate for the hour we are losing tonight.
