A visit to the Museum of Monotropism

This morning Mr hazelh and I paid a visit to Tzipporah Johnston's Museum of Monotropism, which is currently on display at 1 Customs Wharf in Leith, along with the work of three other artists. Amongst the exhibits are three embroidered items named 'Amulet against eye contact'. This is the green version. We love the brass plate dedication that Tzippi has fixed to a 'wing' of her museum, blipped as an extra. In the reflection you can see part of the layout of the museum.

We also called in on another young friend while we were in Leith. Our upstairs neighbour Sophia has a part-time job selling homemade pasta in Leith market on Saturdays (and Stockbridge market on Sundays). It was fun to surprise her. We also saw her later this afternoon when she returned from work without her house key!

Today I also made a batch of soup (pea and ham), planted some bulbs in the yarden, and raked leaves at the back (again).

Exercise today: walking (13,801 steps).
