Packed to the roof
The Scottish contingent made their way north this morning, stopping to visit friends in Keswick overnight. The back seats were down and every available inch was crammed with something.
Even so, there’s half a carload that had to be left behind. An admirable submission for Silly Saturday in honour of Admirer.
Susan was desperate to get the house cleaned and sorted after a few weeks being diverted by other matters.
I escaped to Tenterden for the railway’s AGM which was very worthwhile and very upbeat and positive.
Got back just in time to see England record a last minute victory over South Africa and a very high tackle by an Australian against the Welsh which resulted in the Wallaby being sent off.
