A blip the first thing I see sort of a day.

Many thanks to everyone who enjoyed and commented on Gill's fabric art a couple of days back.  She does get to read your comments and it gave her a lift on another migraine affected day!

Sewing machines, it would appear,  are similar to bicycles, guitars and cameras, in that there is always room for one more :-)

For any grandparents - this morning's Radio 4 Today programme had a wonderfully refreshing item about Grandmothers and the relationship they have with their grandchildren.  Refreshing in that Sheila Hancock was completely honest in a way that the political interviewees on the programme are not.  Amol Rajan's intro is also good - he has a small child at home and so is probably very much aware of how it looks from the other side :-)
