By bus

A lovely sunny day. We caught a 'Pink Bus' from Newlyn to Mousehole. It is a fine little journey following the coast - only about 15 minutes. Mousehole is a pretty little fishing village, much loved by visitors. Today there were very few people about, although the sun had obviously brought out a number of locals. The tide was out when we first arrived and we watched as the tide came in and gradually the boats floated.

We walked the harbour walls, had a good lunch, sat in the sunshine.

My Extra is the 'Pink Bus', its route is Mousehole, Newlyn, Penzance with a 20 minute service, so you never have long to wait. The drivers manoeuvre the narrow, often steep, roads, and some quite tricky bends, with great skill.  Lots of people use the service and it is free with a Pass. How I wish we had such buses where we live.
