We are safe, and dry

For the previous 2 days, the storm raged and dropped countless inches of rain on us with gale force winds just to make things interesting. 
Today, the sun is shining and people are getting out and about as best they can with road closures due to flooding everywhere.
 Where we live has been the hardest hit, and this main photo is at the bottom of the hill from us. 
In the extras, the aerial shot is the highway intersection just a few hundred meters from this main photo, it's the main highway that goes from one side of Canada to the other.. The other is a view across the valley.
I've been in a blip slump since getting back from Mexico, I'll try and catch up over the next few days before we go back to Mexico on Saturday. I think we deserve it, don't you?
