End of the Harvest
Cloudy and chilly all day. Highs in the mid 50s F. The low tonight is predicted to be 33 degrees F. Hubby had a dermatologist appointment in the morning and PT at 1:30 so he spent much of his day on the road. His flexibility is getting much better with each visit. He is able to go up and down the stairs so we are delighted with his progress. I put together our WV meal/groceries spreadsheet. As I have mentioned before, due to the distance to grocery stores, we must carry all ingredients with us. We ordered a few more gifts and helped my mother with new addresses for family members. Since my tomatoes may freeze tonight, I picked many and heavily covered those remaining. This year’s crops yielded unbelievable produce. Hopefully, mushroom soil stays fertile for more than one year. Not sure where the day went but it’s time for dinner and a bit of Kindle reading. Thanks for dropping by and leaving stars and comments. Stay warm and safe. “We can all produce good fruits with fertile soil.”
