Glimmering hope

When I took this shot, M had just walked out of the orthopaedic department having seen his specialist 6 weeks after the knee prosthesis surgery. 2 weeks ago he was fighting high inflammation/infection levels. So today we felt very joyous when the specialist told M, no more 15kg max, no more knee brace, no more crutches inside the house! Yes. He also said no more skiing (with a wry smile)!
