I had just finished eating lunch today and noticed the sun shining on the cherry tree outside. All these leaves will be gone soon, so I thought I'd photograph them while I still could. Jess wanted to join in, chasing leaves and checking for squirrels :-)

This morning I enjoyed a coffee with friends old and new, which felt  like a novelty. Then I tried to think of the last time that I had been inside the house of someone who wasn't a member of my family, sitting  at their kitchen table and chatting about all kinds of things. It might have been sometime in 2020...
