High wire act.

After a busy morning which included buying tiles for the bathroom, I spent the afternoon in the garden, and managed to fill the brown bin.
This week is the last time it will be emptied until next February.
There was such a loud chattering, and when I looked up I saw the starlings lining up on the telephone wires.
Never seen so many before.
I went in for my camera, and just managed one photo before they took flight. Disturbed by some magpies.

Just had some more sad news from our walking club.
Our friend P’s son has passed away.
She is also one of the “ ladies who lunch”.
It is only a few days ago that M. lost her husband.
Our thoughts and prayers are with her.
