New kid on the block

The bird feeders have been very busy today with blue tits, coal tits and a pair of these birds who remain nameless as they are new to my garden. Blurry second shot in extras  I looked in my childs guide to bird spotting and the closest I could see is a female black cap?? Any positive reinforcement of this guess would be welcome (or alternatives). 
Cleaning, a bit of TV, taking eldest back to uni and general stuff took up the rest of the day.
