Mixed day

Thank you all for your kind wishes and concern for AJ. [She is determined to walk again and make her 90th birthday (30th this month] :)

Lovely walk with the dogs. Our council has down a great job again of putting large poppies on various roundabouts in the borough. Walking around you see such wonderful trees, colours are great :)

Telephone call from a doctor at the hospital AJ is at - looking to have surgery late morning, but waiting to be seen by the anaesthetist. Later on I had a call from the anaesthetist who was asking about her pacemaker (this was put in last August when in lockdown and didn’t get a copy of the discharge letter). He advised that until he knows more about the pacemaker, they would not do the operation, so delayed until tomorrow. :)

Christmas cake making / baking today, smelt lovely (did a Mary Berry recipe), just waiting for it to cool before feeding and then wrapping up. :)

Monday already tomorrow! :)
