Oh dear ……..

Today my sister and I had arranged with AJ for her to come out of the home for lunch, and spend some time out of the home and with family. However, telephone call early this morning from the care home, AJ had had a fall in the middle of the night and had just been taken to the hospital. Later on, spoke with A&E, AJ has fractured her hip, has been admitted and will be operated on tomorrow. Took a trip to visit AJ, unfortunately only one visitor allowed. She looked ok (as well as can be expected) and was in good spirits (not sure if that’s the pain relief ), fully aware of what is going on and clearly coping as well as possible with the pain. [This says lt leg = left leg (pointing towards hip]. X
