An Oil Stained Tarmacdam Screamadelica

Today's image is actually just some oil stains on a tarmac road but blip has made me see this as an homage to the cover of the third studio album, Screamadelica, by the Scottish band Primal Scream! 
The band confirmed their influences included free jazz, funk, soul, country, blues, electronic music, post punk, ambient music and psychedelic music from the 1960"s. One of the seminal albums of the 1990's, it was actually released at the very start of the decade in 1991.
The lead singer, Bobby Gillespie, has said the making of the album was one of the most collaborative experiences he ever had - particularly with the DJ, songwriter, producer and remixer Andrew Weatherall (who sadly died last year).
