4000 Blips

Apparently today is our 4000th Blipday. 4000 Blips? Can you believe that? We should really have done something extra special to mark the occasion but sometimes life just takes over.......................

About 2 months ago Ann booked a 'Gin Cruise' down the Union Canal with four of her friends to celebrate 40 years of friendship. In 1981 Ann worked for the Distillers Company at 7 Coates Crescent where she met Linda, Fiona, Janice & Renee. They've been friends ever since and are now known as 'the Distillers Girls' or the 'No. 7 Girls'. Mmmmmm, they're hardly 'girls' are they???? Renee isn't in this photo because after drinking 5 Gins, and going for a late lunch (which obviously involved more alcohol), she got her husband to come and pick her up.

The rest of the 'girls' staggered back to our house to continue the party.

…............As we say; sometimes life just takes over. Not the most exciting 4000th Blip in the world but it's all we've got for you today.
