After the excitement of yesterday, a quiet day was called for today. I popped in to see Dee, our dogminder on the way back from Sainsbury's, and really pleased to see that she's looking well after a crap few weeks. Her son-in-law Jason was with her - being the Copper in charge of policing Hampshire football, at least he got paid for going up to Rochdale yesterday! We were able to provide each other with solid alibi's for yesterday ;-)

Then home, and a gorgeous home made beef bourguignon washed down with a couple of glasses of wine.

Mrs Nicktor has posted pictures of the long tailed tits we have in the garden before, but they are stunning;ly beautiful - and they have incredibly long tails!

But this one was sadly very singular ;-)
