Dates

As happens so often, my Friday has been occupied by mundane tasks such as laundry, ironing and a visit to the pharmacy.

In the midst of all this my homing instincts took me to the bakery in Burntisland to pick up something for lunch. My timing was perfect. They had just taken a batch of baguettes out of the oven. 

Lunch was a sandwich of half a baguette with pâté and sliced gherkins. The bread was still warm. Pure bliss. 

Mid afternoon I sat down to consider what to do next, opened my MacBook and found a helpful calendar reminder about my 3rd Covid vaccination appointment… in 7 minutes.

That is the fastest I have moved in a wee while.
