Funeral of Willie - Prestonpans

Today I was in Prestonpans for the funeral of Councillor Willie Innes.  He'd served on East Lothian Council for over 30 years working right up to his death from cancer.  He really did serve the people.  He may not be a household name outside his own county, he never sought recognition or accolades.  He believed the people he represented deserved the best and he did his very best to help with that.  So many people today spoke about a time when Willie had helped them with something.  And he was a true gent with a huge heart.  He'll missed by very many people.
