Thursday: Rainy Night

Remembrance Day is a public holiday here which feels as it should be.  I went down to Victory Square this morning where the City of Vancouver had its official ceremony.  It was much reduced but at least we could do it partly in person - I was laying a wreath there along with my Mexican colleague.

We met up with H&J this evening for ‘U’ in our alphabetical cuisine challenge.  We went for Ukrainian at the newly opened Kozak Ukrainian Restaurant in Gastown, which was pretty nice.

It was a rainy day - this was in Gastown, opposite to the restaurant.
