Island maple

A day off for government employees but not students. 
W. and I went out to a farm in Bluemont, just below the Blue Ridge. Sat by this pond for awhile...it was a soft day, not as crisp as it's been recently, and clouds were moving in. Rain starting tonight, blocking out the half moon.

Helped D. with some German homework and made beef stew with noodles. Bought ingredients for more "healthy" pumpkin cookies. Now racing to finish a bookclub book for tomorrow, the second Inspector Gamache mystery. Very enjoyable and makes me want to revisit Quebec.
