Copper

A long walk with Laura today that ended at the big sycamore where we write sometimes. Didn't have our laptops today, but it was wonderfully peaceful up there with the big leaves sailing down. Back at the parking lot I saw this glowing young cypress tree (looks better against the black background). The blue sky gives you an idea of what kind of day it was here.

Late this afternoon I had a lesson with a piano student I hadn't seen for two years, a really great kid whom I've missed. So good to see him and his mom. Felix was smitten and brought Joanie a (felt) mouse up on the sofa.
