Remembrance Day 2021

Yesterday I received an email from the school I taught in, inviting me to join their Remembrance Day service online, so that's what I did this morning after I'd walked the dogs. As always it was a time to remember and appreciate.

Apparently 700 former pupils were killed during the two World Wars, 500 in the 1914-18 conflict and 200 between 1939-45. A sobering thought!
