The Sea Starts Here
Bb was going out for a business dinner tonight - the first in at least two years. The restaurant was walkable, actually officially in our area, but not a part that we feel is part of our barrio and about 35/40 mins walk from home. I walked with him part of the way to get some steps and on the way back noticed this sign by a drain on Avenida Diagonal, just where pedestrians stop before crossing the road. I've never seen one like it before and it translates as : 'the sea starts here. Don't throw anything in it.' I wonder how many people actually even see it, never mind take notice of it.
I had a productive morning with Aptis, lunch break, then emails and a catch up on email subscriptions that I try to read once a week.
A visit from the burglar alarm company in the afternoon was quite informative and we now know a few more of its functions and understand how it works a bit more.
Managed to squeeze in 10,000 steps somehow.
