In Praise of Feet!
Bb decided to go out for a walk this morning before he settled down at his desk, then a while later he texted me asking if I fancied joining him. I did and felt I'd earned a walk because I had been online at 8.00am to say hello and welcome to our new group of trainees on day 1. My online work with the group was over by 8.10am as the main course tutor (I'm just a lowly assistant course tutor on those courses and it's great!) then took over to give day 1 input. I join them again later in the week. I met Bb and we walked around for what for us is a newly discovered part of our barrio and by the time we got back home, I'd clocked up over 10,000 steps and Bb a good bit more. My foot and leg feel better than yesterday, still a bit sore, but definitely getting better. Yay! My blip is to celebrate feet and in the reflections you can see the church in Plaza Concordia, which has featured on many of our blips.
I then had a day of trying to tackle some paperwork things that have been hanging over me and made reasonable inroads into at least two of those. Another two will be tackled tomorrow morning with Bb, as they also involve him and Spanish/UK things that we really need to get moving.
And once again Bb is on dinner duty and has just announced that the dinner is on the table. Yay! Tomorrow is payback day when I'll be cooking up a whole load of bolognese sauce and chilli for the freezer.
