Resourceful

As it was mentioned the other day about Dan's resourcefulness I thought this would be a good blip. This is a "leaf cage" that he built on the back of his truck with scrap lumber. These leaves are not bound for the dump but for our gardens. We've been watching for when the towns around here will have leaf pick up day and today he drove about 40 minutes to see what he could find. He used a plastic tote to scoop mostly maple leaves up and some were already bagged. I'd say he had a good score today!
The bunnies also love a handful of dried leaves each day over the winter. They are like potato chips to them. The chickens also enjoy scratching through them.
The extra is the beautiful fog and frost we had this morning. I had planned on using it as my main picture until Dan got home with his haul..
