The deer stand....

So you don't need a deer permit if you hunt on your own property as long as you follow all the rules, of course. Dan had been sitting out in his adirondack chair for a few nights but decided to throw a little roof platform up on our gray shed and put his chair up there. He hasn't gotten anything but I think he's enjoying sitting up there. This is actually him talking on the phone this afternoon. We generally wear orange around here during this time if we're out and about. I wouldn't go bother him if he was actually hunting...lol... I need to get up there and look at the view.
This is cropped so you don't see that this is really the "storage" part of the property but the deer do come through here. Some venison sausage would be welcome in our freezer.
