The neighbours are getting curious

We had not seen the deer for a few weeks until yesterday when Gill saw one on the far side of the rail cutting. Today we saw two, one possibly the mother of the other?   They were in the field but hopped over the fence and into the rail cutting, feeding on the grass and leafy plants in the bottom before walking up to our fence and picking up the discarded bird food.   A quickly grabbed image before we went to Yoga, the young one was back again when we returned.  For a brief moment she(?) was stood looking through the archway before deciding to stay on the far side of the fence.
