Advent calendar

I bought an advent garland, instead of a calendar, to send to my daughter on her year abroad in Canada. I've spent the last few days picking up bits and pieces to fill it with. It's made me start to feel Christmassy. Bit early. Although having said that, we like to get the Christmas tree up at work before the students leave - so that will probably happen... the week after next.
