A Cheeky Chappie

H and I did the Bayfield Bird Walk this morning, It was a lovely morning, but there was a strong cold wind - I kept getting too hot or cold depending whether I was mainly in the sun or wind! We had to walk through a field of calves, but they were fine. I nearly posted a photo of one, they all had name tags in their ear and she was called Evita! But this cheeky chappie won out. When we stop for a cuppa at the Natural Surroundings cafe, we sit outside under an arbour. The Robin is clearly very practiced at getting food from patrons, as we'd barely sat down when he appeared on the fence about a foot from the side of our table. He kept changing profile and location to get our attention. I tried to tempt him to the table with a bit of biscuit, but we put him off having our cameras at the ready. No doubt he snatched it as soon as we left. He did the same when I was last there with G. I'm thoroughly enjoying listening to the new ABBA album in the car - it's like meeting up with an old friend!
