THE IRONBRIDGE ON THE BANK OF THE RIVER SEVERN.
These are just a few of the photos I took when we stayed with Tony’s sister. Her husband Steve took us to see the Iron Bridge we’ve been before but Pauline and Steve hadn’t seen it. It’s a wonderful bridge and very photogenic. Ironbridge is a large village in the borough of Telford and Wrekin in Shropshire, England. Located on the bank of the River Severn, at the heart of the Ironbridge Gorge, We had scones and cream tea in the local café. Then we walked along the street looking at the quaint little shops. I love the photos of the Iron Bridge which was erected in 1779. I also love the Table of Tolls 3p for a coach and six horses. I just had to take a photo of the Teddy Bears shop and from there we walked round the local park. We’re home now but have lots of happy memories. Thank you for visiting my journal and I hope you have a lovely Sunday.
