Craiglockhart Hill
The last time we went up Craiglockhart Hill we discovered a new path to the top of the hill that we'd never been on before so today we walked up the hill via our normal route and then down past the duck pond and up again via our new route. That was 514ft climbed towards our 'Mount Everest project'. That doesn't really seem like much for climbing up the hill twice. Maybe our strava app is wrong?!
I had a fabulous time chasing squirrels but I didn't catch any. Booohooo. Edinburgh seems to have zillions of squirrels about at the moment. Or maybe I can just see them better because all the leaves are falling off the trees.
The only trouble with this walk was........................ when we got to the top of the hill the first time, it started to pour with rain so this is the only photo of me that Ann has taken today. We were both very, very, wet by the time we got home.
And apart from two more little walks we've not really done very much. Ann went to Tesco and also did a 'Meet & Greet' and apart from that; I've been snoozing and Ann's been watching TV. She's working her way through 'Bad Girls' (from about 20 years ago).
And who else hates these dark evenings? We're having to put the lights on before 4pm.
And that's it for today.
Toodles. x
