Car Rally to St Bathans

I have had a wonderful day with 30 others on the church car rally.  Our first stop was at Matakanui.  (Extra 1)  Our next stop was at Dry Bread Cemetery, (Extra 2)  and then on to Cambrians old School (3 and 4) at the old school.  It closed down in 1954.  

From there we drove to our lunch spot at St Bathans  (Extra 5)  We had a nice look around the old township before heading for home.  Extra 6.

All in all it has been a wonderful day, a bit hot though!!  +27C

btw: It is Scooby Doo's birthday today.  We are having a birthday lunch for her tomorrow.
