White heron (Kotuku) with a very small crab

This white heron or kotuku (egretta alba modesta) was fishing along the edge of the estuary. Lovely bright day which was lucky, as I'm using a very poor lens!

My good lens decided it had focused once too often and wouldn't be doing it again, so I have to get a new one.

The bird was catching small fish, bigger fish and crabs.
