Pushing through

I’d spent most of yesterday thinking it was Thursday so it was hard to wake up this morning and realise it still wasn’t Friday!
Beautiful sunny but cold day. Would have been nice to head off to the coast or hills but instead it was back to the office for another packed day. Too many meetings to actually get any work done and my to do list and inbox feel somewhat out of control ….no doubt why I’ve been desperate to get to Friday when I expected a clear day (but which seems to be filling up as well now).
Did manage a meet up over lunch with the lovely Es, talking over plans for the hub, all things musical and some future plans. They’re such good people and I hope we keep in touch longer term.
At the end of the afternoon headed back to the Athens/Edinburgh exhibition (extra is Byron’s handwritten Greek phrase book) to go around it with the Greek minister for education then home for a brief sit down before going out to meet up with R for the first time in months. We ploughed through vast mountains of Italian food and talked about anything and everything for a few hours. When I got home I found A&N sound asleep on the sofa….!
