Another archway/lantern Auld Reekie view...
Woke early and tried to make sense of the mayhem across the pond. Whoever wins, what a divided country and how hard it will be to heal.
Busy day again, with a tricky meeting with external people making the tired comparison between universities and 'the real world'...sigh!
Lot of discussions about current issues and interpretations of decisions, then a very pleasant hour having tea with MH and thinking about options for Christmas/end of semester virtual fun things for the office. A 'Chickens or Dickens' quiz had us both giggling....
Hair cut then home for supper and a very jolly and sociable knitting group - first time for ages and we had a real laugh
The election still looking a mess when I went to bed....
