Ducks

Fortunately these local ducklings are out of reach of Jasper's kingdom. A cranky old nor'easterly is making an otherwise sunny day head towards unpleasant. I took shelter with the ducks.

I tried to buy a new light bulb for my bedside lamp today. I couldn't get anything remotely like the low power use one that's blown. All I could get was a 40 watt incandescent bulb.

I ended up with a new lamp. The bulb in the new lamp will last 20,000 hours and then it's throw away. That's just over 2 years. Something is very wrong. That was the best of a bad set of options.
