Teasel

This morning I started an art class at Gracefield Art Centre led by Pamela Grace. I’ve been a fan of Pamela’s own artwork for many years. http://www.pamelagrace.co.uk/etchings/

For the first week we were given the task of drawing with charcoal. Not easy !! This was my drawing of some teasel . Teasel provide food for birds like goldfinches.

In the afternoon I visited Mum with shopping and then went for a walk with Jill & Julia around Dalswinton Estate . It was lovely to get out in nature on a sunny afternoon. Jill had made flapjacks and brought a flask of tea to share.
Time to rest now ….
