Rain all day

Every time we went out today it rained. Drove to next village down to have a walk, visit a lovely little shop and have lunch. Nowhere open for lunch or even coffee. Nice little shop was open but nothing of interest and it was so wet and cold we had a short walk and back to cottage for lunch. Read a lot and finished book. Managed to fine two bars on phone in one spot so nipped out while it was dry got part way through doing blips and it started raining again.
Keep trying for a sunrise but sky not clear, this was the view from the bedroom window around 9 this morning and it has kept changing all day. Seals still around but pup gone.
Again apologies for lack of comments, I keep doing a few when I have a signal and it’s not raining.
