One tick on the list

Montmorillon today. It was very busy for reasons unknown and for the first time ever, we had trouble finding a parking space. After driving round twice we opted for the far side of the river and we parked in the motorhome aire :-) It did give me an opportunity to seize a Blip.

The sub-prefecture office on the town side of the bridge was open. We were able to determine that they do not have our cartes but, when they do, they will email us to let us know that we can collect. That's a weight from our minds and a bonus that we shall not be needing a trip into Poitiers - just as well as the road is closed from our end.

Thence to the Leclerc centre where a large and daunting queue had formed outside the pharmacy. Nobody seemed to be in need of a flu jab though and once I reached the dispensing counter I was dealt with very quickly. Cost me 1€89 this year, last year I didn't have to pay a contribution.

So, just one tick rather than two today but our ToDo list is gradually contracting.
