It's good to be home

Nell and I went round to the lake today. It took a long time, she's very slow now. But it was a pleasant Autumnal day and I took photos.

Back at home there was a lot of admin, a great deal of housework, and a measure of DIY. We now have heat in the bathroom but the lovely cupboard unit that was promised for replacement back in June has now been cancelled and we have asked for a refund. We brought the beat up one in from the shed and at least I now have somewhere to tidy things away even if it has no doors on!

Tomorrow we need to begin measures to track down our residence cards that vanished into the ether whilst we were away. A visit to the supermarket and one to the pharmacy are also in our plans. Doesn't sound like a photogenic day.
