Sock It To 'Em ....

Just one of many punny titles I considered for today's entry.

After a day in the garden, hauling out creeping buttercup by the yard, so that I could have little weed-free patches in which to plant tulips and crocuses and even a few daffs, I'm now sitting by the fire and knitting.

These are intended for my friend F, she likes things to be bright and cheerful, and I think these are. The yarn is self-striping, designed by Zandra Rhodes, very 1960s.
