7 bulbs but only 1 flower!

Having seen lots of lovely nerine flowers at RHS Wisley last year I decided to grow some this year. The packet had 7 bulbs and I planted them in a pot as instructed and have waited patiently for nearly a year. Lots of leaves but only one flower! 
Although I do not usually keep the packet I happened to keep the one for the nerines and on reading againit does say they may not flower in the first year! Maybe next year.

As it was lovely and sunny today I managed to plant all of my bulbs so something to cross off the to do list!
