back on track

We found out today that Rafi can flex both his legs when you ask him to (at the hip and knee) I suppose this is only what he did in the pool, but that bit harder as he now has casts on both legs and doesn't have the buoyancy of the water. He was also able to flex the one that I asked him to ie left or right. This is sooooo good as only a few weeks ago his right leg was so stiff even we couldn't flex it when trying with all our might!
The movement he has had in the past when you request it has usually only been very slight and very delayed. This leg movement today was almost immediate which is such an improvement.
He is still nil by mouth (continuous IV fluids) as his bloods have been a bit out and they are giving his liver a rest. Hoping he might be back on the feed tomorrow.
Colin and Nina have gone to Bedford to meet up with Carol and family and Shan and Mary. Nina is staying for a couple of days to have some fun with her cousin ( and do a bit of school work)
