Impromptu Recital.

Jonathan and Sam came over for lunch. They are both musicians. Jonathan is an opera singer as well as pianist, viola player and conductor. Sam plays a range of instruments especially drums and guitar.

We don't see these guys that often so I asked for a blip. I thought he would strum a few bars of "American Pie" or something similar. Instead he started tearing up and down the fretboard like Rusty Cooley. I forget he has a band, keeps getting asked to play in other bands, has just finished his first UK tour. I've known him since he was 11. How time flies!

We ate too much (lamb stew and flambéed bananas) then sat around eating chocolate, drinking coffee and chewing the cud.
